An additional asset to the extensive drain cleaning capabilities we offer is our purpose built Remote Reel unit. This extremely versatile, self-propelled unit can be remotely positioned away from our tankers and combination units in areas that would simply not be accessible with large vehicles.
The Remote Reel is capable of overcoming even the most challenging terrain and will also fit through small openings and spaces between buildings, walls and fences.
Whilst clearly being equipped for heavy duty tasks this unit is remarkably lightweight (only 750 kg), making it also somewhat surprisingly suitable for sensitive parkland areas.
Our vastly experienced engineers and operators are trained and equipped to deal with both maintenance work and emergency requirements
Armed with 150 metres of hose, our Remote Reel Satellite Unit will remove and clear out just about any obstruction, including and not limited to; tree roots, sand, silt, stones, calcium build ups and fat.
The primary application for this unit is large drain and sewer work, of which our vastly experienced engineers and operators are trained and equipped to deal with both maintenance work and emergency requirements. Normal hydrojetting processes are used for cleaning of the drains and recovery of the debris is completed either manually or with the use of vacuuming methods.
Uses, benefits and applications of the Remote Reel unit
- Jetting range of 400 metres from feeding tanker
- Sewer mains, S T E.D’s and C.E.D’s
- Culverts and storm water drains
- Industrial/Commercial; removal of grease, chemical build up, scale, solid deposits and debris in pipes and drains
